What was it that inspired you to buy this particular motor yacht?
We originally bought her in 2011, desiring a larger, more comfortable boat that had 3 or 4 cabins for our large family. We also desired a glass-hulled craft with a good reputation for reliability and seaworthiness. We had a specific budget in mind that we wanted to adhere to, and this required quite a bit of research and travel to find the right craft.
What have you most enjoyed about this boat?
We’ve very much enjoyed using the boat for extended summer cruising — typically for 6-8 weeks at a time. We have equally enjoyed her comfort and capability during weekend getaways.
What notable destinations has she traveled to?
We frequently boated to the San Juan Islands and up the east coast of Vancouver Island, in addition to venturing over to Desolation Sound.
What has impressed you most about her performance?
She is extremely stable and can handle pretty much all weather. She was originally delivered to us from Los Angeles, California, during which time she cruised through quite a gale off the Oregon coast without any problems. She has proven to be very reliable, no doubt due in part to the regular and fastidious maintenance of her multiple systems.
What additions to this motor yacht are unique or notable compared to others on the market?
There are so many things that we have done and upgrades we’ve opted for, it’s hard to say which is the best. It could be the watermaker, custom Bimini, generator, enclosed cockpit or the custom mattress.
Why are you listing her with Waterline Boats?
I wanted to list the boat with a reputable local outfit and with someone in proximity to her berth here in Everett. That desire was fulfilled after meeting broker Gretchen Miles, who made me feel very positive about listing it with her and Waterline Boats.
