This beautiful, spacious and well-equipped vessel offers a considerable number of upgrades and is ready for extensive cruising.A Boat Owner’s Insights – Sabre Sabreline 43 Aft Cabin Motoryacht Review

What attracted you to this boat and inspired you to buy her?

The interior cabin layout and the spacious flybridge with settee were very appealing, as these provided an immense amount of comfort and space, especially compared with our previous sailboat. We also appreciated the excellent craftsmanship of the wood interior as well as the extensive onboard storage space.

What have you most enjoyed during your ownership of this boat?

We enjoyed the stellar view from the main cabin settee and flybridge, and the owner’s ample main aft cabin with roomy shower. Our guests enjoyed the privacy of the generously sized forward cabin and separate head and shower. The settee in the salon is very comfortable as well.

What notable destinations has it traveled to?

Among the more memorable locations were the Great Bear Rainforest on the British Columbia coast as well as the Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve in Alaska; both stunning places.

What impressed you most about the vessel’s performance?

This vessel has a fuel consumption monitor, and we were highly impressed with her fuel consumption, even when running at 8-9 knots. She handles rough seas extraordinarily well and was a dream to handle when rounding Cape Caution and crossing the straits.

What additions to your boat are unique or notable compared to others on the market?

The Flybridge is completely enclosed with canvas and center front glass panel with wiper, which allowed us to stay above to steer or relax even in rainy weather. The Webasto cabin heater kept things very comfortable in cooler conditions up north. The large separate freezer located on the flybridge allowed us to keep much more frozen food on hand for trips of 2-3 months in duration. We enjoyed a continual supply of ice from the icemaker during hotter summer weather, and unlimited water from the watermaker at all times.

The AIS is invaluable, and kept us informed about the location, speed and direction of other ships, which was especially important in foggy weather. The hydraulic dingy davit was easy to operate. The anchor light is controlled by a photocell, so it automatically comes on at night and conveniently goes off in the morning.

Why are you listing your Sabreline with Waterline Boats?

We sold our last boat through Waterline Boats and it was a very positive experience. We were impressed with the thorough online presentation and enjoyed dealing with owner and broker Scott Helker.
