What is your boating background?
I became smitten with boating after my husband and I chartered a 30’ Bayliner Sunbridge for our honeymoon in 2002. We purchased our first boat, a Bayliner 2858, a few years later in 2006 before upgrading to a 2001 Mainship 390 in 2009.
Do you currently own a boat? What kind?
I currently own a 2003 Jefferson 64 Pilothouse. We found her in Port Orchard where she had been for three years waiting patiently for new owners. We are privileged to be the second owners and have been working to bring her back to her glory. We continue to live aboard.
What is your favorite boating destination and why?
The Desolation Sound area, and north of there. Warm water swimming, excellent snorkeling, fresh oysters and gorgeous anchorages!
What do you like most about being a broker at Waterline Boats?
I like the easy access to and support from the owners, Scott and Lisa Helker. They have been incredible mentors. As far as being a broker goes, I enjoy the excitement experienced by a new boat owner and watching them grow in their boating experiences. satisfaction.
